Philip is an experienced technologist with over three decades experience working in software development and technical architecture. Having worked on everything from complex enterprise platforms through to complex telecommunications software, Philip brings a structured, analytical approach to every project, ensuring that Greater Else's technical delivery is tailored to meet our clients' brand and business goals.

Before co-founding Greater Else, Philip built his career as a senior developer and was known for his ability to take on complex legacy and modern systems, optimising them, and leaving them well-documented and thoroughly tested for the teams who'd maintain them after him. This is a discipline that still defines how he leads technical delivery to this day, with a focus on coding standards and best-in-practice delivery.

Now, as co-founder and technology director at Greater Else, Philip leads the development team to deliver robust technical solutions and provide ongoing client support, including long-term technical partnerships spanning multiple brands within international client portfolios. He brings the same structured, detail-first approach to every engagement - treating technology not as a separate discipline, but as something that has to work in lockstep with brand and business strategy to deliver real, measurable results.
